Beth Kornman

I am a retired primary/infants teacher. I taught full time for 30 years in rural NSW schools, and 3 years on Teacher Exchange in Canada and the US. Since retirement I have continued teaching on a casual basis at local schools, and also one year of full time work again in the Learning Support role. I play basic piano and clarinet, and have trained school recorder groups to play in Eisteddfods and in the Combined Schools Recorder Ensemble at Sydney Opera House.

Over the years I have also worked short term positions as a governess and for Remote Family Care Service in outback Queensland. I have spent time working as a volunteer ranger in National Parks in Australia and the US, and as a nanny in the UK and Australia.

I love bushwalking, handcrafts and travelling.
