Helen Mayo

I am married and we are both retired. My husband had a management position from a mechanical engineering background and would love to be an angel.
I am from a farming background, dairy farm in the Bega Valley.
I was a full time permanent technology high school teacher, my favourite subject is textiles, followed by hospitality. Literacy and numeracy is taught across all subject areas. I have done casual teaching at primary school.
We have three married children and five grand children whose ages range from twelve to two. We are in touch with all age groups. Our eldest daughter lives in the Northern Territory and we visit her family twice a year and drive from Newcastle to Humpty Doo every second year, so are familiar with the Territory.
We both volunteer at our local sailing club. I organise and run the canteen ( only in summer) and my husband helps with regatta management and overseeing risk management of the club.I could write more but think this is sufficient relative information.
