Helen Teakle

I have been doing VISE placements since 1997. Mt Isa School of the Air doing Networking the Nation for 2 years. Then placements with families working through Charleville, Longreach, Katherine and Charters Towers. I was a teacher at a Technical College for 15 years and a secondary College for 5 years before moving into the Adult Education field and doing reseach with industry & education partnerships. Since retiring I have been doing voluntary reading programs at the primary school and for 3 years I have been assisting with the homework club for refugee students in our town.
