Judy (McIllree) and I have been on five placements:
2013 cattle station near Charters Towers, 3 Primary children Grades 1, 3 & 5;
2015 National School for Travelling Show Children, teachers aides for up to 35 children from Prep to Year 9, Rockhampton to Cairns;
2016 & 2017 same station “Back o’ Bourke”, 2 children Grades 4 & 7 in 2017.
2018 cattle station near Julia Creek, 2 children, 1 Grade 6 and 1 prep

We live in suburban Melbourne. In 2015 we went home from Cairns via Karrumba and Windorah where we camped by Cooper’s Creek for five days while we helped out a local family that was just starting “school of the air”.
