Maree Carroll

I am a retired primary  teacher of 30 years experience. I trained for three years as a student teacher  at Toorak Teachers’ College and completed my fourth year over two years at Ballarat and  by correspondence.  I  taught in the Victorian primary schools of Castlemaine, Rokewood,  Warragul, Invergordon and lastly 23 years at Bourchier St Primary, Shepparton. I have taught all levels of Primary except for Preps, my passion being literacy and numeracy and I have enjoyed shared teaching roles of Creative Arts and Teaching Support.

My last 13 years involved Reading Recovery training and teaching.

With my husband we have share  farmed a dairy property at Ellinbank prior to purchasing our own dairy farm at Katandra and then selling that after buying a bigger dairying farm at Invergordon.

We have raised 4 children and now enjoy spoiling three grandchildren.
