Merrill Smead

I have been a primary classroom teacher  at all levels for 40 years.I was an EAL teacher at AMES to 18-25 year old  migrants. I have also taught EAL as an Outpost teacher through Blackburn English Language School to newly arrived migrant children from many countries.I taught in Canada, USA and Denmark as well as Japan as an exchange teacher.I speak basic Japanese. Currently I tutor 6 primary students weekly in their own homes in Maths and English. I have also taught swimming and was a state breastroke swimming champion. I have taught children to knit and donated their squares made into rugs to the Salvation Army.
